Bio
S.A. Stringer, 81, of 913 North Fort Worth Street died Friday in a Midland hospital where he had been confined for several days. Stringer came to Midland from Madisonville, Texas 20 years ago. Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday in the Newnie W. Ellis Chapel with the Rev. Earl Pennick, pastor of the Four-Square Gospel Church officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. Survivors include the widow of the home; three sons, Scott Stringer of Midland, S.A. Stringer Jr. of Oklahoma City, and H.C. Stringer of Midland; two daughters, Mrs. Isaac Johnson of Midland and Mrs. Pauline Fitcher of Anahuac; 23 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
