Jack was the son of Estelle Crouch and Rolo Marvel; brother of Charles Grady, Winston, and Gerona Marvel. Home in 1920: Taylor, Cleveland, Oklahoma Home in 1930: Taylor, Cleveland, Oklahoma Jack married Lucille Whitenack on February 1, 1931, in McClain County, OK. In 1940, Lucille and Jack were living in Norman, OK, with their sons, Joe Neil (age 8), and twins, Deryll Rolo and Gerald James (age 4). Jack was a veteran of World War II. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserve on February 25, 1944, and served until his honorable discharge on November 8, 1945.
