Bio

Virginia Jalufka Petter of Bay City, formerly of El Campo, passed away June 30, 2017 at the age of 93. She was born August 14, 1923 in Halletsville to the late Julius and Mary Pustejovsky Jalufka. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Otto Petter, daughter Cynthia Phillips, brother Lawrence Jalufka, and sisters Lou Hradecky and Marabel Polasek. Visitation will begin 10:00 am Monday, July 3, 2017, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Bay City with a parish Rosary being recited at 10:30 am. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Greg Korenek officiating. Graveside services will be 3 pm at Holy Cross Cemetery in El Campo.
