Alvin Alois Bollom 1935-2017 Alvin Alois Bollom, 82, was born January 6, 1935 on the family farm in Lavaca County, Texas and passed away June 18, 2017 in Conroe, Texas. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus council 2917 and Harvest Years. He also was employed by Marek Brothers Company for 53 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Clara Bollom; brother, Jaro Bollom; sister, Beatrice Netardus and nephew, Patrick Bollom. Alvin is survived by his wife, Mildred Bollom; 6 children, Linda Greene and spouse Les, Donna Dial, Gail Mensik and spouse Michael, Jean McGee and spouse Scott, Douglas Bollom, Marty Bollom and spouse Brenda; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 5 – 8 p.m. with a rosary service at 7 p.m. at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 23, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church 901 E. Roselane St. Houston, Texas 77037. Interment will immediately follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
