Bio

Gertrude A. Hlavaty, 83, of 208 E 12th St. died Friday April 17, 1992 at Goo Samaritan Village Perkins Pavilion. Mrs. Hlavaty was born July 19, 1908 in Hastings. She married carl Hlavaty. He died in 1985. She was a homemaker and a life resident of Hastings. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Survivors are one daughter, Joyce Helsel of St. Joseph, MO and one son, Richard of Hastings; two sisters Frances Minich and Phyllis Mohrland of Hastings, one brother Howard Richards of Hastings; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
