Bio

Funeral services for Curtis Howard Atwood, 54, of Lake Providence will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bethel Methodist Church here [Logansport], with the Rev. O. D. Beam officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Caraway Funeral Home. Mr. Atwood died Tuesday at his residence after a brief illness. Survivors include four daughters: Mrs. Sybil Nichols of Minden Mrs. Oma L. Meeks of Albany, Ga. Mrs Inez Meadows of Haittisburg, Miss. Miss Eula F. Atwood of San Antonio, Tex. five sisters: Mrs. Clara Collins of Logansport Mrs. Janie Blackmon of Granice, Ark. Mrs. Irene Ottwell of Bailey, Miss. Mrs. Tagara Wells of Hughes Springs, Tex.
