Charlene Mae Kirkpatrick, 83, of Loveland, CO, died on May 31, 2017 in Pathways Hospice, McKee Medical Center in Loveland. She was born on April 28, 1934, in Gering, NE to Chester Snook and Gladys (Koenig) Snook. She graduated from Scottsbluff High School in Scottsbluff, NE, May 22, 1952. On Sept. 13, 1953, she married John Allan “Jack” Kirkpatrick in Scottsbluff. They were married for 54 years until Jack’s passing in 2008. Charlene has lived in Loveland since 1979, moving here from Hampton, VA. She was a member of the Namaqua Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution since 1994, A Lady of El Jebel Shrine and Medical Staff, and a volunteer of the Shrine Tele-Med Clinic in Loveland. Charlene volunteered 2045 hours from 2002-15 at the McKee Breast Center. She was a member of the Colquhoun Clan of America, the South East Scottish Society of WY, and Loveland Shrine Club. Surviving Charlene are two sons, two daughters-in-law, a sister, sister-in-law, three grandchildren, two honorary grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren [survivor's names omitted]. A celebration of Charlene’s Life with an old-fashioned “potluck” lunch will take place from 2-5:00 P.M., Saturday, July 22, 2017 at her home. Cremation has been completed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Charlene Kirkpatrick Memorial Fund in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home to be used for special projects and interests for children at Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.--Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home
