Betty Gene Griffin 1944-2017 Betty Gene Griffin went peacefully to be with the lord on June 9th, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born April 9th, 1944 to Carl and Jerry Warren in Altus Oklahoma. She grew up in Cisco Texas where she met and married the love of her life Bill Griffin (in 1962). Bill and Betty were happily married for 40 years until he lost his battle with Leukemia in 2002. Betty lit up the world with her gorgeous smile, lively spirit, delightful personality and generosity. She treated everyone like family and never met a stranger, she made them her friends. The love and joy she shared with this world has touched many hearts. She will be missed by us all so deeply. She is survived by her daughter Beth Storrs and husband Jeff Storrs; son Billy Griffin and wife Staci Griffin; daughter Belynda Griffin Black; Granddaughter -Rileigh Storrs (and Great Granddaughter Genevieve Grace Storrs); grandson Mason Storrs; granddaughter Cassidee Black; grandson Reece Black; granddaughter Miranda Griffin and granddaughter Chloe Griffin; as well as many In-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Griffin; father Carl Warren; mother Jerry Toland; step father Tommy Toland; brother Randy Warren; brother Larry Warren; In lieu of flowers please make donations to the or a . Services will be held on Saturday, June 24th at 2:00pm at the First United Methodist Church – 131 N. Elm St, Trinity, TX 75862. A "Dessert Reception" will follow the service.
