Bio

Anton was the son of Johan Heller and Anna Ponce/Ponec Heller. Some of his siblings were Antonia, Rudolph, and Victor. Per the 1910 Census in Omaha Anton had arrived in the US in 1909. In 1910 he worked in a packing house in Omaha along with the rest of his family. His sister Antonia was married to Thomas Sladek/Stadek. Anton and his mother lived with the Sladek/Stadek Family in Omaha in 1910. On July 10th, 1928 Anton married Clara Netolicky in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. By 1930 the marriage was over and Clara was living with her mother in Iowa. She later married Thomas Velky. Anton and Clara did not appear to have had children together. Anton worked as a general laborer for the majority of his life in the US. He chose to have his remains cremated and his ashes were given to family.
