Marjorie Seawright, 80, of Waco passed away early Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007.Church Services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007, at St. Alban's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Jeff Fisher officiating.Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.Visitation with family and friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Marjorie May was born the daughter of Louis and Anna Bayer Kolinek in Coupland, Texas, on April 3, 1926.She married Claude E. Seawright, Jr. on Jan. 23, 1946, in Waco.Marjorie was educated at Sharp, Thorndale and Waco High.She worked for James Connally Air Force Base, V.A. Medical Center and retired from the V.A. Regional Office on June 23, 1986.Marjorie was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #121, VFW Auxiliary #2148 and Merak Temple #104.She was a former member of the Pageantry Unit and Patrol Unit. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband of almost 38 years, C.E. Seawright, Jr. on Jan. 9, 1984; three brothers; and six sisters. Those left behind to cherish her memory are son, Richard Seawright and wife, Lisa of Speegleville; sisters, Ella Chiles and Ione Lewallen and husband, V.G. all of Waco; grandchildren, Ashley Villa and husband, Emilio of Speegleville, Brad Seawright and wife, Treva of Troy, Leighann Marcontel of Speegleville, and Jennifer Cross and husband, Brandon of Fort Worth; and three great-grandchildren.
