Bio

Marvin F. Tomcak, 58, of Touhy, NE, died Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Bryan LGH West Medical Center in Lincoln, NE following a motor vehicle accident. He was born October 4, 1958 in Wahoo, NE to Andrew and Violet (Strizek) Tomcak. Marvin attended grade school at District 74 and graduated from Raymond Central High School. Marvin grew up on a farm with his parents near Touhy, NE. He was only 20 years old when his father passed away. He took over the farm making his livelihood through farming and as a long time employee of the Wahoo Sale Barn. He later worked at Super Saver in Lincoln. Family and friends were important to Marvin. He will be remembered fondly as a gentle soul. He loved being part of the sale barn, going to auctions, gathering summer vegetables, and "hearing the news" while enjoying a pop at Tuffy's Bar in Touhy.
