Bio

Delores A. Kluna, 85, passed away Nov. 19, 2016 at Valley County Health System in Ord, NE, following a brief hospital stay. Delores was born, educated, and lived in Sargent, NE. She was one of seven children born to Noel and Minnie Draper Amos. Delores was married to Elmer J. Kluna until his passing in 1988. Two daughters, Susan and Barbara, were born to this marriage. Delores spent her adult life as a wife and homemaker. She loved her family, her cats, and her flowers. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, and canning. She enjoyed testing new recipes. She enjoyed a funny story; laughing with others and at herself. Delores is survived by her daughters Susan and Terry Todd, Palm Desert, CA; Barb and Dennis Jilg, Newport, NE and their family, Kristopher and Brandi Jilg, Xavier, Colton, Haley, and Aubrey, York, NE; Stephanie and Bill Kohlhof, Norfolk, NE; and Tad and Nichole Jilg and Veronica, Norfolk, NE. Also Delores’ brother Larry and Shirley Amos and family, OR; sister-in-law Ella Jane Amos and family, NE; sister-in-law Edythe Klanecky, Jan and Kelly, and Ardith, all of OR; nieces Margaret Cargill and family, OR and Janette Little and family, NE; special niece Kathy Parker and family, NE; and special nephews Everett and Mary Klanecky and family and David Klanecky, all of CA. Private graveside services will be held. Memorials in Delores’ memory may be offered to Valley County Home Health and Hospice or Valley County EMTs. Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. e to edit.
