Bio

Barbara was born to parents Adalbertus Mitera and Agnes Kawik in Lekawica, Poland, and is believed to be one of 6 children, with the youngest, Marianna, born in 1881 and the oldest, Agatha, born in 1893. Barbara emigrated to the US in 1906 and married Joseph Krzemien in Omaha in September of that same year. Along with Barbara, siblings John Mitera, born in 1883 (Memorial ID 16747140), and Agatha Mitera-Ciurej, born in 1893 (Memorial ID 16248797), lived and had their families in Omaha.
