Married to Russell Brunken COLUMBUS - Loretha Martha Brunken, 81, of Columbus died Tuesday, April 7, 1998, at Columbus Community Hospital Inc. Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church of Columbus with the Revs. Christopher Grimmond and Joe Miksch officiating. Burial is at St. Bonaventure Catholic Cemetery in Columbus. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. Sunday with a 7:30 p.m. rosary at Gass-Haney Funeral Home of Columbus. Mrs. Brunken was born Nov. 2, 1916, at Columbus to Nicholas and Evelyn (Polak) Speicher: She graduated from St. Francis Academy. She married Russell Brunken Nov. 27, 1947, at Omaha. They lived in Columbus where she was a homemaker. She was a member of the church. Survivors include two daughters, Elaine (Rolland) Dvorak and Ruth (Larry) Bierman, all of Columbus; one brother, Leonard Speicher of Columbus; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband May 1, 1994; two brothers, Clarence and Elmer Speicher; one sister, Irene Speicher; and her parents.
