Aurora Tydlacka a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on February 13, 2007 in Highlands, TX. She was born April 11, 1926 in Harmon, Louisiana to Henry and Ora Barrilleaux. Aurora is survived by her devoted and loving husband Adolph of 51 years; son, David McCarty of Dayton and daughter, Janet and her husband Steve Balthrop of Boerne, TX, grandchildren, Crystal and her husband Aaron Smith of Highlands, Laura, Rachel and Nathan Balthrop; great-grandchildren: Trevor, Ty and Brice Smith and her sister Lillian Sjolander of Georgetown, TX; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Edgar and Evelyn Wotipka, Bennie and Kathy Wotipka; sister-in-law: Nina Wotipka and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Aurora was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Ora Barrilleaux; brothers: Archie, Harris, James C. and Lionel Barrilleaux; a sister Annie Mae Wooster; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Margaret and Ben Tydlacka; a brother-in-law: Edwin Wotipka. Aurora was a long-time resident of Highlands. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and enjoyed quilting, crocheting, needlepoint, canning, cooking for her family and spending time with her family and friends. Her home was always open. Her loved ones will remember that she cherished taking care of all her "babies" and centered her life around serving her family.
