Bio

BIG SPRING - Dalton Friend Carr, 77, died Friday, April 21, 2000, in a local nursing home. Service will be at 2p.m. Tuesday in the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with burial in Trinity Memorial Park. He was born on March 8, 1923, in Vincent and was a lifetime resident of Big Spring. An Army veteran of World War II, he owned and operated Creighton Tire Company and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Emma Carr of Big Spring; two sons, Rodney W. Carr and Richard Dalton Carr, both of Big Spring; a daughter, Rhonda H. Harding of Vincent; two brothers, Bryan Carr and Jackie Carr, both of Big Spring; and four grandchildren.
