Bio

Thanks to contributor #48796369 Frances K. Bremer, 72, of Columbus, died Friday, Dec. 9 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. Rev. Dan Keller officiated. Burial was at St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Visitation was from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 8 to 10 a.m. Monday at McKeown Funeral Home in Columbus. There was a 7 p.m. vigil service on Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Bremer was born Jan. 12, 1922, at Litchfield to Frank and Mary (Zoucha) Kusek. She graduated from Litchfield High School and attended Grand Island Business College. She married Edward Bremer on May 31, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio. After college, she worked for AAA in Loup City and then moved to Cleveland and worked for Ohio Crankshaft. When her husband entered the service in 1943, she moved to Columbus and became a secretary in a doctor's office. She later was a bookkeeper for Bovey Motor Co. and then for Rambour Realty for 21 years. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Deborah Jacobs of Ord and Ann (Mrs. Ron) Ernst of Columbus and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, four sisters and two children.
