Marie Kruppa Von Minden was born July 12, 1950 in La Grange, Texas to Frank & Georgia Kruppa. She passed away on May 15, 2017 at Care Inn Nursing Center surrounded by loving family and friends. Marie was a local resident of La Grange her whole life. Marie is remembered and admired for her unwavering Catholic faith and for her love and dedication to her family. She was a member of The Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn. Marie Kruppa Von Minden was a teacher for many years at La Grange Independent School District and Sacred Heart Catholic School, where she fostered her love for children. She was a member of KJZT, enjoyed painting, bingo and loved art. Marie is survived by her husband of 44 years Ronald Von Minden of La Grange, and two daughters and sons-in-law. Wendy and husband Donnie Becka of La Grange. Erica and husband Robert Dudley III of La Grange and the lights of her life her three grandchildren: Madison Becka, Ryan Becka and Robert Dudley IV all of La Grange. Two brothers and sisters-in-law Gene & Beverly Kruppa of Plum, Donnie & Theresa Kruppa of Keller, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Marie in death were her parents Frank & Georgia Kruppa and her father and mother-in-law Werner & Gladys Von Minden. Visitation will be held at Queen of The Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Rosary will be held. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be sung with the funeral to follow att Queen of The Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn. The burial will be at Queen of The Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery after the funeral. Memorial Contributions are suggested to be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, Queen of The Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn, St. Rose Catholic School in Schulenburg or to a charity of one’s choice.
