Georgia A. Kruppa, age 86, of La Grange passed away Saturday February 2, 2013 surrounded by her family. Georgia was born February 22, 1926 in Dubina, Texas to John and Frances Mican Vavra. Georgia married Frank Richard Kruppa on June 20, 1949 at St. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Dubina,Texas. Georgia was a homemaker, loved polka music, cooking, sewing, and enjoying her family. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn. She is survived by her loving husband, Frank; daughter Marie Von Minden and husband Ronald of La Grange; two sons, Gene Kruppa and wife Beverly of Plum, Donnie Kruppa and wife Theresa of San Antonio; sister, Josie Balcar of Schulenburg; grandchildren, Wendy Becka, Stacy Wahle, Erica Dudley, Elliott Kruppa, Courtney Kruppa, and Stephen Kruppa; great grandchildren, Madison Becka, Ryan Becka, Robert Dudley, Nathan Wahle, Caroline Wahle, and Elijah Kruppa. She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and two brothers. Visitation is scheduled at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange and at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn. Rosary will be recited at the church. Funeral services are scheduled at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn. Interment will follow in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery at Hostyn. Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Rosary Catholic Church Building Fund or St. Mark's Medical Center. (Fayette Memorial Funeral Home)
