John and Rebbeca were both born in Virginia, married in Ohio, and buried in Angus, Iowa. "Wood Family record" of information; I have a hand written account by Flossie Wood Marshall [1903-1999]: Grandfather and grandmother Gant. John E. Gant was born Nov. 8, 1810 and died June 14, 1889. He was married on January 26, 1932 to Rebecca E. Young who was born January 7, 1912 and died Aug 15, 1883. Children: Willis C; James; Nancy Ann; Elizabeth; May Catherine; Eliza Ane; John; Reece; Cynthia Ann & Sydney [twins]; Amanda.
