Bio

He was formerly from Dallas and had lived in Corpus Christi about 50 years. He was elected justice of the peace in 1946 serving until 1952. He was the former owner of Carter Electric Company and co-founder of Kenne-Carter Funeral Home which is now owned by Cage-Mills Funeral Directors. He was survived by his wife, Cecile, one sister, Gloria Fredericks of Terrell, Texas, and one brother, Jack Carter of Corpus Christi. (Corpus Christi Times, Texas, February 25, 1987)
