Bio

Ruby Harper West, she was born 13th of Feb 1911 in Lindon. Utah the daughter of Perry William Harper and Emily Gertrude Duke of Provo area. She married Lloyd LaVerl West on April, 16, 1930, their marriage was later solemnnized in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Ruby and LLoyd spent their first 5 years living in American Fork canyon at the Yankee mines. During WWII for 12 years they workers at the Wasatch Inn. The next 12 years they operated the BrandInIron motel,after selling that they moved to Nevada and continued working as a Motel management. Ruby was Known as a wonderful cook and enjoyed doing handwork. She loved her family and friends. She survived by her daughter; Dixie West Beck of Pleasant Grove. and her eight grandchildren; Pam (Kent) Allen, Scott )Kay) beck, Elizabeth Beck, Kelly (Julie) Beck, Jeff Beck, Tom West, Shane (val) West, Fleicia (Bart) Watts. 15 great=grandchildren and one great-great- grandson. she was proceeded in death by her husband Lloyd and one son Kaye. Funeral services are Tuesday July 27 2004 at 11 am in the pleasant Grove ninth ward chapel/ interment will be the Pleasant grove cmentery
