Bio

Jeralyn Prihoda, 92, of Nada, passed away April 28, 2017. She was born January 5, 1925 in Wharton County to the late J.W. and (Charlotte) Lottie Drozd Krutilek. She was chosen Nada Citizen of the year in 2009. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Catholic Life and Nocturnal Adoration Society. She married Alfred Prihoda on October 14, 1947 at St. John's Catholic Church in Taiton and together they raised three children. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alfred John Prihoda; sisters, Anita Suchma and Sylvia Wiesner; brothers, Eugene, Johnny and Milam Krutilek; step-sister, Wilma Miller and step-brothers, Robert, Victor, Buddy and Ted Krutilek. A Rosary will be recited 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 2 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Nada followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. with Rev. Peter Yeboah-Amanfo officiating.
