Bio

At 19 he left home to serve in the Navy during World War II. After being discharged, he spent 40 years in the Naval Reserve, retiring as a Captain. Robert attended the University of Nebraska, graduating with a degree in business, and spent his career with the Soil Conservation Service. His work led him to assignments, with USAED, in Lashkar, Gah and Kabul, Afghanistan and Kathmandu, Nepal. He and Leeana traveled the world.
