************************************************************ A host of relatives and friends paid a last tribute to Dorothy Carol, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kudlacek of Wilber, at funeral services at the Shimerda Funeral Chapel at Wilber on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. Rev. K.O. Zavadil officiated, and Mrs. Albert Slapnika, Mrs. B.J. Klasek, and Mrs. Fred Bors sang. Interment was made in the Wilber Bohemian National Cemetery, beneath a beautiful blanket of floral tributes. Pallbearers were: Harold Hoffman, Irwin Fuchs, Raymond jelinek, Robert Schupbach, Albert Dodson, and Eugene Zednik. Flower girls were Betty Shestak, Joan Simecek, Bessie Jane Simecek, Emma Marie Shramek, Sharleen Knosp, and Jacqueline Aksamit. Dorothy Carol was born on the fifth day of October 1930 in Wilber, Nebraska. She was baptized on Easter Sunday, April 5, 1931 by Rev. Zavadil. Dorothy attended Wilber Public School, being in the first grade, and she also attended the Methodist Church school. After a short illness, Dorothy departed this life at the St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lincoln on Friday afternoon on February 12, reaching the age of 6 years, 4 months, and 7 days. She is survived by her parents, three brothers, Robert, Franklin, and Johnnie. Further, she is survived by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Sindelar, all of Wilber, and many other relatives and friends. Her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kudlacek and one sister, Harriet Elaine, preceded her in death.
