Emma Lee Stiles Hughes, 82, of Goessel, Kansas, formerly of McKinney, Texas, passed away on April 19, 2017 in Goessel, Kansas. She was born on March 22, 1935 in McKinney, Texas to Rupert Frank Mullins and Mattie Lee Brinlee Mullins. She married Donald Lee Stiles on December 22, 1957 in Weston, Texas and from their union came three children. After Donald preceded her in death, she later married Weldon Lee Hughes. Emma was a graduate of McKinney High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Collin County Courthouse, Wilshire Furniture Company then later for Quadrant Chemical, from where she retired. She was a former member of Dunn Memorial Baptist Church in McKinney. She is survived by her daughters, Darla Potter of Waynesville, MO, Connie Gage and husband Jackie of Lincolnville, KS; son, James Donald Stiles of McKinney; six grandchildren, Josh Gage, Jackie Gage Jr., RileyAhart, Emily Tart, Brandy Stiles, Brian Stiles; 11 great grandchildren and a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Donald Stiles, her second husband, Weldon Hughes; four brothers, J.L. Mullins, Joe Mullins, Carl Mullins and V.R. Mullins and three sisters, Joyce Rogers, Pearl Spurgin and Ruby Maxwell. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with burial following at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at a visitation on Friday, April 21 from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
