Bio

Graveside services for Oleta Veasey Friedrich, 96, of Tyler, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, at Tyler Memorial Park with Rev. Brett Winters officiating. Interment will follow in Tyler Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. Mrs. Friedrich died Feb. 6, 2007, in Tyler. She was born Oct. 23, 1910, in Garden Valley and later moved to Tyler. She was a deaconess and lifelong member of First Christian Church of Tyler. Survivors include her son-in-law, Jack Peveto of Tyler; son, Karl Friedrich of Camas, Wash.; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Gracey of Erie, Colo., Renee Cole of Tyler, and Joseph Leguenec III of Austin. She also had four great-grandchildren. If desired, memorials may be made to the Juliette Fowler Home, 1234 Abrams Road, Dallas, 75214. Published in the Tyler Morning Telegraph on 2/8/2007.
