Bio
Son of James Howard and Wiletta Jo Smith Trusty. Married to Sharon Atkins, December 26, 1958. Suvived by wife, Sharon of Aubrey; son Kelby Trusty and wife Shari of Aubrey; daughter Trudy Stogsdill and husband, Tim, of Aubrey; brother Mickey Trusty of Sulpher Springs; mother-in-law, Tolafae Atkins of Denton; brother-in-law, Randy Atkins of Denton; 5 grandchildren, Lee Lewis, Jay Lewis, Jon Lewis, Cole Stogsdill, and Wyatt Stogsdill,2 neices and 1 nephew. He graduated from East Texas State University and earned a masters degree at SMU. He served in the U.S.Air Force where he achieved the rank of colonel. He was awarded the Purple Heart during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 373 in Leonard.
