Funeral rites will be conducted by the Rev. Laurin Buzynski, 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Visitation begins at ? p.m. Tuesday at McKown Funeral Home, where rosary service is set for ?:30 p.m. Tuesday. A retired farmer, Mr. Kuta had lived at Tarnov, Loup City, Litchfield and Fullerton before moving to Columbus 13 years ago. He was born Feb. 22, 1905, to John L. and Anna (Korus) Kuta at Tarnov, where he attended St. Michael school. On Feb. 10, 1931 he married Bernice Placzek at St. Stanislaus Church, Duncan. Survivors include his wife; three children, Richard of Fullerton, Mrs. Laurence (Theresa) Tworek of Osceola, Mrs. Ronald (Janet) Racine of Omaha; seven grandchildren. One of a family of 13 children, he is also survived by five brothers, Tom of Tarnov, John and Joe of Loup City, Andrew of Downey, Calif., Mike of Santa Barbara, Calif., and one sister, Mrs. Stanley (Catherine) Nosal of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mrs. Frank (Veronica) Shotkoski and Mrs. Pete (Cecelia) Golus; brothers, Adam and Stanley; one infant brother and sister.
