Funeral services for W. E. Johnson, 83, of Leesville will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at 10 am at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Bro. Arlin Smith officiating. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 28, 2017, from 6 pm until 9 pm at the funeral home. Wayne, the son of Huel and Gladys Wisby Johnson, was born on March 7, 1934, in Leesville, Louisiana. He passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017, in Leesville, LA. Mr. Johnson served in the United States Air force. And after earing a degree in Accounting, he worked at Fort Polk Civil Service for over 30 years. He was a kind hearted and loving man that always helped people anyway he could. He was preceded death by parents, wife, LuAnne Johnson and brother, Billy Ray Johnson. He is survived by his children, Dale Wayne & wife, Pamela Renee’ Johnson of Leesville, David Huel Johnson of Leesville and Paula Johnson of League City, TX; siblings, J. L. Johnson of Cravens, LA, Arlene Cook of Leesville, Karen Dufour of Leesville, Eloise Pemberton of Ft. Worth, TX and Opie Deason of Marlow and grandchildren, Kayla Johnson, Kaitlyn Gothreaux & Noelle Gothreaux and great-grandchild, Carson Johnson.
