Bio
Allen was born in Wallis to parents Aubrey and Anna Laura (Allen) Walger. He was raised in Wallis and graduated from Wallis High School. Allen was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Wallis where he was involved with the Knights of Columbus. Allen was a truck driver for much of his life. Allen "Bud" Walger passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 in Wallis, Texas. He is survived by his son, Mark Walger and wife, Rita, of Wallis; grandchildren, James Walger and wife, Amy, Wayne Walger, and Valerie Bryant and husband, Chris; great-grandchildren, Amanda Walger, Kyle Wick, and Noah Bryant; and sister, Barbara Leland. Preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Anna Laura Walger, and sister, Mary Leenen. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wallis Volunteer Fire Department. Serving as pallbearers were James Walger, Wayne Walger, Chris Bryant, Jimmy Michulka, Jimmy Polasek, and Dennis Putjovsky.
