Lee Roy Motl, beloved Husband, Dad, Grandpa and Papaw went to be with his Lord & Savior on Thursday, March 16, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 14, 1929, to Henry & Lottie Motl in San Angelo, Texas. Growing up on their farm he learned hard work at an early age. He served in the US Air Force for 20 Years, retiring in 1972, and then went to work at Goodyear Proving Grounds and retired in 1987. Lee Roy was an avid fisherman, hunter, trapper and snake hunter. He loved gardening, traveling and camping out with family and friends. A member of Harris Ave Baptist Church for many years, he had a strong faith and was a good Christian man. Preceding him in death were two sisters, Josephine Brown and Bonnie Johnson; one brother, Ellis Motl; a son, Johnny Kleypas; a daughter, Karla Adams; and two great-grandchildren, Kye and Abby. He was survived by his wife of 40 years, Doris, two daughters, two sons, twelve grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, friends, and a fur baby, Sam.
