Bonnie M. Motl Vaughan Johnson passed away at her home in Madisonville, surrounded by family on Wednesday, November 18, 2015. She was 90 years old. Beloved wife of 62 years to the late James C. Johnson, Jr. Loving mother of Anita J. Savarese (and the late Gerald), Kathy J. Patrick (Don), Keith A. Johnson (Cherie Kelley), and the late James C. Johnson III. Grandmother of Jamie, Jill, Jeffery, Shelly, Julie, Rachael, Don Jr., Kelly, Keith Jr., Amanda, Nicole, Brandon, and Jazmyn, and great grandmother of 16. Daughter of the late Henry Motl and Reva Vick Motl Vaughan. Stepdaughter of the late William T. Vaughan, Sr. Sister of Imogene Murray, Oleta Becher, Donald Vaughan, Lee Roy Motl, and the late Mary Evelyn, Thelma, William, Sammy, Raymond, Francis, Jackie, Ellis, and Josephine. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Patricia Johnson, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00AM. Published by Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home.
