HELLMAN CALLED BY DEATH Mrs. Ferdinand Hellman, age 57 years, passed away Saturday afternoon at her ranch home two miles south of Columbia Falls, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Hellman has resided in this vicinity for the past 37 years. Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock in the Catholic church at Columbia Falls. Rev. Father O'Shea will officiate. Interment will be in Conrad Memorial cemetery, under the direction of Sherman & Son. ****** The Daily Inter Lake Tuesday, October 13, 1931 page four SERVICES FOR MRS. F. HELLMAN Funeral services for Mrs. Ferdinand Hellman, who passed away at her home south of Columbia Falls, Saturday afternoon, were held this morning at 10 o'clock in St. Richard's church with Father O'Shea officiating. Interment was in Conrad Memorial cemetery, under the direction of Sherman & Son. The pallbearers were O. M. Junkins, Frank Opalka, Anton Vlasak, T. V. Kilduff, George Watt, and Dr. J. M. Reynolds. OBITUARY Mary Ulrich was born November 11, 1874 and died October 10, 1931 aged 57 years. In 1890 she was united in marriage to Ferdinand Hellman and to this union were born six daughters and two sons: Mrs. James Tuma of Lebanon, Oregon, Mrs. James Ready, of Coram, Montana; Mrs. Vincent Vlasak, of Kalispell; and Mary, Helen and Frances of Columbia Falls; James of Kalispell, and Fred of Columbia Falls. Mrs. Hellman was one of the early pioneer settlers of Flathead county. She came here with her husband Ferdinand Hellman from Dodge, Nebraska, 32 years ago and settled in the Bad Rock district where they have since made their home. Mr. Hellman passed away July 3, 1929. Mrs. Hellman was a kind and loving mother, very devoted to her home and children and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
