The Daily Inter Lake Wednesday, January 21, 1959 page two ANNA S. WEISS DIES AT AGE 56 Mrs. Anna S. Weiss, 56, residing at 263 Second Avenue East-North, died at her home Tuesday morning. She was born Anna Hellman in Columbia Falls April 17, 1902, a daughter of Ferdinand and Mary Ulrich Hellman. She attended schools at Columbia Falls and grew to womanhood there. On Sept. 25, 1927, she was married to James Ready who was employed by the Forest Service as a forest ranger. They made their home at the Coram Ranger station until his death on Dec. 19, 1932. She later came to Kalispell and on Aug. 19, 1952, she was married to Julius H. Weiss in Polson. He operated the Army Goods Store in Kalispell until his death on March 29, 1958. She continued to make her home at 263 Second Avenue East-North. Mrs. Weiss is survived by two brothers, James and Fred Hellman, both of Kalispell; three sisters, Mrs. James (Lily) Tuma in Lebanon, Ore., Mrs. Gus (Helen) Smith of East Glacier and Mrs. Vincent (Agnes) Vlasak of Kalispell and a step-daughter, Mrs. Josephine Russo of Winston-Salem, N.C. The body is at the Johnson Funeral Home where the Rosary will be recited Thursday at 8 p.m. Requiem high mass will be celebrated in St. Matthew's Church Friday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Father Butori as celebrant. The Rosary will be recited in the Johnson Chapel Friday at 8 p.m. instead of today as previously announced. Requiem High Mass will be celebrated in St. Matthews Church Saturday at 10 a.m. instead of Friday as previously announced, with the Rev. Butori as celebrant. Interment will be in Conrad Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Weiss, a native of Flathead County, died at her home 263 Second Avenue East-North Tuesday morning.
