Bio

Esther Jean Nehr Halliburton was born May 14, 1934 in Mason County, Texas the daughter of Ben and Angeline Henry Nehr. She passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. Jean married Morris Halliburton April 21, 1955 in Dallas, Texas. Jean passed away just 7 days before their 58th wedding anniversary. Funeral services were held at 11:00am Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells/Savoy, Texas. Reverend Terry Brown officiating. Interment followed in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family received friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Jean loved to garden and work in her flowerbeds. She also loved to spend time with her family. Jean is survived by her husband Morris of the home, sons Robert Halliburton and his wife JoAnn of Westfield, NJ and David Halliburton and his wife Linda of Bells, grandchildren Joshua Halliburton of Bells, Jennifer McCarthy and husband Joshua of Bells, Jamie Parsons and husband Billy of Nocona, Alex Halliburton of Rockville, Maryland and Katie Halliburton of High Point, NC, great grandchildren Teryn Halliburton and Rachel and Taylor McCarthy, sisters Deltha Gaida and husband Bob of Hamilton, Carolyn Curtis and husband Gerald of Junction, and D'Ann Green and husband Gary of Llano, brothers John Nehr of Bells and Charles Nehr of Central, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother William Nehr and grandson Justin Halliburton.
