Bio
' Martha L (King) Kirkpatrick was born on April 17, 1935, the daughter of Shelton M King (1898–1976). She graduated from Hume-Fogg High School in Nashville, Tennessee and worked at Southern Bell until she and her husband started a family. Martha was married in 1955 to Arthur H "Buddy"Kirkpatrick (1930–2021) and was a 50-year member of Glencliff United Methodist Church. A resident of Nashville, Tennessee, she was 81 years old when she passed away on March 10, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sisters, Martha was survived by her husband, two marred daughters, a married son and three grandchildren. Funeral Services were held at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall, and burial was in Woodlawn's Cross Mausoleum. Original obituary in The Tennessean on March 11, 2017
