Bio
Harold William Goblish was born, on 9 September 1955, in Olivia, Renville County, Minnesota, to Henry and Rose Marie Reibel Goblish. He attended Danube schools and then served his country in the Army National Guard. In 1986, Harold married Patricia "Pat" Cronen, on 22 August 1987, in Renville County. They had a daughter, Kaitlin; and, the marriage ended in 1995. Harold was a truck driver for the Ready Mix plant and later for Cliff Veesman Trucking. He retired in 2012. Harold was a member of the American Legion Post 167 in Willmar. He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, water skiing, gardening, and tending to his yard; and, he especially loved people and visiting. Harold was survived by his daughter, Kaitlin Jo Goblish; step-daughter, Jessica Cronen; significant other of 20 years, Donna Arends; sister, Roxanne; and brother-in-law Tom Doberstein. Harold was preceded in death by his parents and his infant son, Michael Paul, in 1988. Harold William Goblish, of Danube, died at the age of 61, on Saturday, 4 March 2017, at the Renville County Hospital in Olivia, Renville County, Minnesota. Visitation was on Wednesday, 8 March, from 5:00 to 7:00; and continued on Thursday for one hour prior to the funeral service, at the Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Olivia. Harold's funeral service was held on Thursday, 9 March 2017, at 3:00 p.m., at the Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Olivia. Harold was buried on Friday, 24 March 2017, in the Minnesota State Veterans' Cemetery, Little Falls, Morrison County, Minnesota.
