Bio

Windell was a member at Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church, the church his father founded. He was a carpenter for several years at Day and Zimmerman before starting Windell’s Body Shop. He was very active with the Naples Watermelon Festival and the Naples Boots and Saddle Club. He was one of the founding members of the Naples Trail Riders. Windell was formerly the Naples Citizen of the Year. He enjoyed gardening and farming. He could build anything he set his mind to build. Windell was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Clifton Cobb and JD Cobb; and two sisters, Lucille Cobb and Paralee Jacobs.
