Funeral services for Deborah (Debbie) Douglas, age 58, of Rio Vista, Texas will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 11 am from the First Baptist Church in Schulenburg, Texas. Visitation will begin to the public after 9 am Friday at the First Baptist Church, 110 N. Upton, Schulenburg, Texas. Interment will be in the Schulenburg City Cemetery in Schulenburg, Texas. Survivors include: mother-June Jurena of Moulton; husband-Gil Rhodes of Rio Vista; daughters-Andrea Hall/husband Billy of Rio Vista and Kalynn Anne Rhodes of Hallettsville; sons-Paul Podhajsky/wife Chyla of Hallettsville and Dustin Podhajsky/wife Stephanie of Westhoff; sisters-Sylvia Douglas Wiley/husband Jim of Justin and Kellyanne Douglas Kalmus/husband Alfonse of Hallettsville; brother-Steve Jurena/wife Betty of Moulton; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandparents and her father-Gene Jurena.
