Howard County Herald, St. Paul, NE, Aug 14, 1935, Wed., p.1 Mrs. Josephine Kowalski, aged about 96 years, passed away at the home of her son, Frank, near St. Libory, Tuesday evening shortly after seven o'clock. Her death was attributed to infirmities due to old age. She leaves three sons and two daughters. She was the last of the Greenwalts to pass away. A brother, Michael, died four months ago and another brother, Odrain passed away several years ago. She had been ill only a few days and was not regarded as being in a serious condition. She had been administered by a physician only a few hours before death came. The funeral will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock from the St. Libory Catholic Church and burial made in the cemetery nearby.
