Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Church, with the Rev. Laurin Buzynski officiating. Burial with military services, will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at McKown Funeral Home. Holy Name rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. and the parish rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Bonk, son of Charles and Anna (Kuta) Bonk, was born Oct. 27, 1931 in Platte County. He was educated at St. Anthony Grade School and Columbus Senior High. He married Mary Anne Zywiec Aug. 29, 1955 at St. Anthony Church and resided in the Columbus area all of his life. He retired from the Columbus Fire Department after 21 years of serivce and, at the time of his death, was employed by Columbus Hydraulics. He served in the U.S. Army for two years and was stationed in Germany. He was a member of St. Anthony Church, Holy Name Society and Columbus Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, Mary and daughters, Mrs. Dana (Joyce) _____, Edmond, Okla.; Mrs. Jeff (___) Collins, Omaha; Sandy Bonk, Omaha (?), Lisa Bonk, Columbus; sons, ___, Robert and Rodney, all of Columbus; mother, Mrs. Anna Bonk, Columbus. Brothers, Stanley, Ray, John, Tom and Joe, Columbus; sisters, Mrs. John (Deloris) Wulff and Mrs. Mino ____.
