Dudley William Marek, age 56 of Alvin, Texas, passed away at his residence Thursday, February 16, 2017 in Houston, Texas. Dudley was born on October 18, 1959 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Dudley retired from INEOS Chemical Plant, where he worked as an operator. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lorene Nemec Marek. Dudley is survived by his loving wife Cyndi Marek; daughter, Alyssa Marek and her fiance Nathan Corona; step sons, Justin Baker and wife Bobbie, Logan Baker; sister, Vivian Bessellieu; grandchild, Novamay Baker and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, February 20, 2017 at Scott Funeral Home with a Rosary starting at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Scott Funeral Home. Interment will follow directly after at Confederate Cemetery, Alvin, Texas.
