Bio

Robert (Bob) M. Nell earned his heavenly wings on February 8, 2017. Bob passed away peacefully at home in Grantsville, Utah of kidney failure. He was an officer and gentleman and a very special man. Bob was in the Navy for 30 years and proud to have served our Country. With his first wife he had two children. Years after this divorce, he met Julie, thanks to Bobs niece and Julie's friend. They were marred for 22 wonderful years. Bob was a special grandpa to all the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bob was a kind and loving man who looked for the good in a world filled with darkness. Everywhere he went he made an impression and left smiles on the faces of those he encountered. Everybody adored him and those few who didn't weren't moss on a rock to him anyway. A viewing will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
