Bonham- Funeral services for Jack Mulder, age 59 of Bonham, TX will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Bonham, TX. Bro. Steve Walker and Bro. Abe Ogea will officiate; interment will follow at Duplex Cemetery. Mr. Mulder passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Texoma Medical Center Denison, TX. Jack Mulder was born in Bonham, TX on September 18, 1957 to Veston and Edna (George) Mulder. He married Joann (Helvey) on August 31, 1987 in Bonham, TX. Jack worked for the Texas Department of Transportation operating heavy equipment before retiring. He served 2 terms on the Bonham City Council and he served on the Texoma Council of City Government. Jack loved to fish, hunt, politics, and sports. He loved family especially his grandchildren and is a member of Duplex Baptist Church. He is survived by wife Joann Mulder, children, Kathy Williams and husband Bradley of Bonham, TX; Rhonda Howery and husband Kenneth of Ft. Worth, TX; Stephanie Hobbs of Bonham, TX; and Vickie Rains of Whitesboro, TX; grandchildren, Gary Howery, Tommy Manley, Ariel Hardy, Khristian Loe, Colby Helvey, and Baylee Rains; 4 great grandsons; and brother, David Mulder of Bonham, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, and 1 sister. Serving as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be employees of the Texas Department of Transportion, Billy Pannell, Gary Rater, Kelly Titsworth, Jerry Hale, Kent Hall, Marty Charles, Stan Waldrop, and John Nichols.
