Bio
Orville Forde, of Waco, passed away, Thursday, February 9, 2017, at the age of 72. At his request, there will not be any services. Mr. Forde was born July 13, 1944, in Waco, Texas, the son of the late Robert Lawrence and Laura Lee (Gibson) Forde and attended South Junior High School. He later moved to Houston, Texas, where he spent many years as a hairdresser prior to returning to Waco in 1985. Throughout his life, he enjoyed growing and taking care of various types of plants. Survivors include a brother, James Elbert "Jimmy" Forde; four sisters, Gwendolyn Moore, Louise Fincher, Betty Cook, and Sue Forde; as well as many nieces and nephews. The family expresses their heartfelt appreciation to Providence Hospice Place as well as Woodland Springs Nursing Home for their never ending care of Orville.
