Bessie Brezina, 93, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, at home. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Saint Paul Catholic Church. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 6 p.m. Sunday at Saint Paul Catholic Church. Bessie entered this world on Oct. 13, 1913. The Godly character of her life was a beacon to all. She was that rare person who displayed by her life what she truly believed. She loved and accepted a person for who they were. She was a giving, sharing individual that always offered a helping hand to anyone in need. Bessie was always concerned for others. Faith, hope and love described the life she lived. She was an inspiration and encouragement to all who knew her. She will be sorely missed by family and friends, but her example and light still shines on us all. Bessie was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church of River Oaks for 50 years. She is now in the presence of the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley, and sons, Frank and Michael Brezina. Survivors: children, JoAnn Snapp of Sarasota, Fla., Angie Starnes of River Oaks, Robert Brezina and Doris Cull of Fort Worth, Johnny Brezina of River Oaks, Betty Stewart of Haltom City, Edward Brezina of Hurst, Billy Brezina of Sunset, Richard Brezina of Springtown, Carolyn Ruthesell of Alvord and Theresa Syrus of Newark; 25 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Sister Patricia of Oklahoma City, OK.; brothers, Ed, Marion and Robert Kopycinski.
