Edward J. Knapek, Jr. - Obituary Eddie J. Knapek Jr., 39, of 1446 Miami, died at 7:30 a.m. yesterday in a local hospital after a short illness. He was born at West and moved to Corpus Christi in 1937 with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie J. Knapek, Sr. He attended Corpus Christi High School. He was a member of American Legion Post 364, KJT No. 76, St. Patrick's Catholic Church and St. Patrick's Men's Club. Surviving, besides his parents, are his wife, Janelle and two sisters, Mrs. Malvina Urbanovsky of Corpus Christi and Mrs. John McCumber of Houston. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will celebrated at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Msgr. Edward Miller, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park. Corpus Christi Caller-Times, Corpus Christi, Texas, September 26, 1971
