Bio

The dates on his tombstone do not match the dates on his Arkansas birth certificate, which are born 25 March 1848 and died 12 January 1947; His Tombstone reads: "Walter T. Boles, 25 March 1849-26 February 1947; In My Memory and God's Hands Forever" Walter Bowles was a brother to Josephine Dickson (1854-1933), who is also buried here in the Boston Cemetery. Walter & Josephine were the children of William Akers & Lucinda CLARK Bowles, who both died in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. Walter & Josephine's sister-in-law, Louise MARSHALL Bowles, is also buried here at Boston Cemetery. Louise was the wife of Samuel Clark Bowles (1842-1918)who is buried in Lakeland, Florida.
