Thanks to contributor #47226369 ORD — Eugene F. Holden, 81, of Ord died Monday, June 21, 2004, at home. Mr. Holden was cremated. Private inurnment will be held at the Ord City Cemetery. Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Holden was born Nov. 13, 1922, on a ranch 17 miles north of Ord, near Ericson, to Francis O. and Anna B. (Graves) Holden. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen (Ward) Holden, on Jan. 12, 1981. Survivors of his immediate family include his wife, Norma (Knapp) Holden, and two sisters, Cora Hansen and Helen Marshall, both of Ord. The Grand Island Independent on-line - Jun 23 2004
